I can’t think of a better way to kick off our new blog than with this wedding. As is the case with many of our clients, Victoria & Colin are from out of state and planned this entire wedding long distance. Which, of course, meant that we met them for the first time at their Rehearsal Dinner. But we fell in love with them long before. Victoria is a fantastic planner whose attention to detail and thoughtfulness when planning meant that our phone conversations left us filled with excited anticipation for how fun this wedding might be. Meeting them in person simply confirmed my suspicions. With infectious laughs, great humor, casual elegance and impeccable style, this Gasparilla Inn wedding was destined for perfection.
Day of, we began with a First Look & knocked out all the formal photos before the ceremony so that they would have more time after the ceremony to spend time with the guests that had traveled so far to celebrate the day with them…
Okay, seriously, how adorable are those girls! The flowers were stunning as well. Native Gardens Florist did a fantastic job…
Their ceremony was at the newly renovated St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The new bridal room there is a photographer’s dream – lots of beautiful natural light…
After the ceremony, we ran across the street for some quick photos while the sun was setting…
That dress. SO amazing.
The Cocktail Hour & Reception were at the Gasparilla Inn’s Beach Club, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the outdoor Cocktail Hour…
I heard a rumor that the special “ice cream & strawberry” wedding cake Victoria requested melted in your mouth. (oooOOOoooh! ba dum bum.) After the cake cutting, the band “The Venturas” did an amazing job leading the wedding into a very fun night of dancing.
Again, such an incredible night. Huge props to the vendors involved:
